Velocity AI (“we”, “us”) operates an AI consulting practice and communicates with prospective and existing clients through the Velocity AI Facebook Page on Meta’s Messenger platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect through that channel, why we collect it, how it is processed, and how you can have it removed.
Scope. This policy covers data we receive when you send a message to the Velocity AI Facebook Page. It does not cover Meta’s own collection of your data, which is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.
When you message the Velocity AI Facebook Page, we receive and store only the following:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Message content | To understand and answer your enquiry |
| Your Facebook display name | To address you correctly and maintain conversation continuity |
| Page-Scoped User ID (PSID) | Technical identifier required by Meta to deliver our reply to you. It is specific to our Page and cannot be used to identify you elsewhere. |
| Message timestamp | To respond within Meta’s required messaging window and to order the conversation |
We do not collect your email address, phone number, payment details, Facebook profile photo, friends list, or any data beyond the four items above.
The data listed above is stored in a private Google Sheets workbook within our Google Workspace account, accessible only to authorised Velocity AI personnel.
To respond promptly, the content of your message may be processed by a third-party large language model (Anthropic’s Claude) for the sole purpose of drafting a proposed reply. Please note:
Messages are transferred between Meta’s Messenger platform and our systems using Zapier, an automation service acting as a data processor on our behalf.
We share your data only with the service providers necessary to operate this channel, each acting as a processor under our instructions:
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
We process this data on the basis of your legitimate expectation of a reply: you initiated contact with us for the purpose of enquiring about our services. We use the data solely to respond to that enquiry and to maintain continuity if the conversation continues.
We do not send unsolicited or promotional messages, and we do not initiate conversations with people who have not first messaged us.
Enquiry records are retained for up to 24 months from the date of last contact, after which they are deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see below).
You may request to:

If you are in the Philippines, you also have rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and may lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
Access to enquiry records is restricted to authorised Velocity AI personnel and protected by account authentication on our Google Workspace. Data is encrypted in transit by the platforms we use.
